Paul A. Green
Executive DirectorPaul A. Green is the executive director of Hope for the Inner City. Mr. Green has more than 10 years of consistent achievement while serving as an instrumental member of and adviser to executive managements. Mr. Green implements strategic business-growth initiatives, builds strong board relations, creates powerful internal and external alliances, manages through crisis and change, and oversees all aspects of nonprofit, faith-based functions.
Mr. Green is currently pursuing a Bachelor of Arts degree from Covenant College, Lookout Mountain, Ga. He has also completed Entrepreneurship Studies at the University of Virginia and Biblical Studies at the Word of Life Bible Institute in Schroon Lake, N.Y. He and his wife, Gwen, have three children and reside in Chattanooga.
Deputy Executive Director
A native of Chattanooga, TN, Mr. Lawrence brings over 20 years of pastoral ministry experience and over 16 year of experience from the financial services industry to his role as Deputy Executive Director. In this role, Mr. Lawrences supports the executive director in management and organizational strategy and manages Hope’s programs. Mr. Lawrence previously served as the Vice President of Economic Development for Hope for the Inner City, and later as a member of the board. His last position prior to returning to Hope was that of Assistant Vice President and Branch Manager for Suntrust Bank. Currently, Mr. Lawrence serves on the board of directors for Launch Chattanooga and is a member of the 100 Black Men of Chattanooga. Mr. Lawrence previously served on the boards of Rebuilding Together Atlanta and the International Rescue Committee (Atlanta Office). Mr. Lawrence is an alum of Austin Peay State University and Dallas Theological Seminary.
